The striker has been on loan at Cheltenham Town for the last six months but has been unable to get into the team due to the form of the Cheltenham strikers and has been returned to Coventry City.
"We wanted to keep Shaun but I totally understand that he wants to play more regularly and I would not be surprised to see him go out on loan again," said Cheltenham manager Mark Yates, to his club's official website.
"Shaun has been excellent for us, he has had to be patient but he has trained well and done a good job when called upon.
"I hope he has enjoyed himself here and that the experience has been good for his long-term development.
"We will keep our options open and look around at possible loan signings once we are able to."
