Former Coventry City youngster Shaun Jeffers has joined Newport County.
The Bedford hailing striker has been used as a makepiece in a deal which will see Peterborough United take Conor Washington from Newport in a deal worth up to £500k.
Jeffers made six appearances for the Sky Blues before he was released at the end of last season and joined Peterborough in October and scored against City in the Boxing Day game at Sixfields.
