Coventry City's 18 year old striker Shaun Jeffers is set to join Cambridge United on loan for a month.
Jeffers had been on loan at Cheltenham Town, but was recalled to his parent club after not establishing himself in the first team and so was not getting the game time that City manager Aidy Boothroyd had hoped he would be getting while on loan.
Jeffers, who was an unused substitute for City's trip to Leeds United, will be at the Conference side until March 15th.
Jez George said about Jeffers to Cambridge United's official club website: > "He gives us excellent options in three positions, up front and on either sides. His pace will be a real asset, I know he's another young lad but I feel we need more players with pace in those positions.
"I'd like to thank Aidy Boothroyd, who I have known for a long time, and has helped us out by allowing Shaun to come here."
Shaun has been given the number 21 shirt by Cambridge United and goes into their squad for tomorrow night's game against Kidderminster.
