Speaking about his goal, O'Brien told the Scunthorpe club website: “It was nice to get on the pitch.
“Obviously I scored a goal, but to get a win here is a big deal, because it’s a tough place to come to. They’re always dangerous from set-plays as well, but on a whole I’m really pleased.
“It was a gutsy performance, and the guys are in there are buzzing. Sometimes you’ve got to win ugly, and I think we did the ugly things really well.
“I scored here at the start of the season as well, so it has been pretty kind to me this ground. It was nice to get on, and the goal gave us a bit of breathing space in the game because they were putting a bit of pressure on us.”
