Coventry Business man John Clarke, who was once City Chairman for a day in between Peter Robins and Bryan Richardson has returned to Coventry City's board.
Clarke who is CEO of his own public relations company Century PR is also Managing Editor and a main shareholder of Mind Your Business magazine, a Governor of Coventry University, a Board Director of the Coventry Transport Museum and a founder member and former Vice Chair of the NSPCC Coventry Business Group.
Although Mr Clarke is a millionaire, it is understood that he will not be making a serious investment in the club but will be helping to try and bring funds into the club which is making a loss on a weekly basis with Clarke telling Sky Blue Player: "My role will be to help the club get even closer to our supporters and to help build strong partnerships with local companies and organisations."
Speaking about Clarke, who has been an Associate Director for the last four years, City Chairman Ray Ranson told Sky Blue Player: "John has been a great supporter of Coventry City over the years and this really takes that to another level.
"As an Associate Director, he has been involved with the process of reshaping the club over the past few years and this means he will continue to play a growing role with Coventry City."
