Coventry City captain Reda Johnson has said that he is happy not to be going back to Northampton for City matches.
Johnson told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner about the return to the Ricoh Arena: "I know how important it is. "First of all the players are really happy because you have to travel 35 miles when you are playing at home you are a bit angry. Honestly, I am very happy not to be going back to Northampton - I respect them and thank them for letting us play in their stadium but I am happy to be back home.
Now it will be like a new start and I hope that the fans will turn up against Gillingham. Everyone is buzzing at the club and the most important thing is to start well in the first game back and get a win straight away to get the fans behind us and I am sure everything will be ok."
