A new way of getting to the Arena has been launched this week. It's by boat, well, a "stretch-limo style narrow boat which is some sixty six feet long.
Not for those who want a fast exit after the final whistle as the narrow boat will take ninety minutes to travel from the Canal Basin in town up to the Arena, this alternative way to travel is likely to be a hit with the corporate market and well-heeled supporters.
The boat called "Chardonay" holds up to twelve people and can be hired for £300.
Taster trips before the season starts are being organised by owner Keith Holland whose website can be found at www.chichospitality.co.uk
