Jodi Jones has said that he is excited to have signed a four year deal with Coventry City which becomes active on July 1st.
The midfielder, who has been saved from being relegated from the Football League with Dagenham & Redbridge, has joined after City paid an undisclosed sum for the eighteen year old.
Speaking to Keiran Crowley, Jones who has already made six appearances for City's first team, said: “Im buzzing to get it done finally, it was a long process. But I’m just excited, I can’t wait for next season to start.
“I didn’t really expect to be playing first team football, but I did well in my first U21s game and I was straight in [against Peterborough]. League Two is much more of a physical league, you get smashed a lot. But League One you get a lot more time on the ball, you can play a lot more football.”
