Coventry City manager Steven Pressley feels that Jamie Jones ticks all the right boxes for him.
Whilst the thoughts of Preston supporters might not reflect Jones, who had made twenty appearances for the Lillywhites this season after joining from Orient, in the best light, the City boss feels that the keeper is the right man and told Matt Joyce: "If you look at all the top sides its very evident that they have top class goalkeepers."I think where we are at this moment in time in the season and our position, one of the most important factors was that we brought someone in with experience and understanding of this level - Jamie ticked those boxes and his name was at the top of the list.
"Steve Ogrizovic did a lot of ground work and he felt, along with myself, that he was the right choice. We're really pleased and we're hopeful that he will make the right impact at the club."
