Former Coventry City midfielder Claus Jorgensen scored for Tamworth tonight in a 3-2 victory at Leamington FC.

Watched by a crowd of 241, Tony Breeden made two tremendous saves to deny former City trialist Danny Thomas but could do nothing to stop Jorgensen driving home from eighteen yards twenty seconds before the half-time interval.

Leamington replaced their keeper at the break and the sub keeper spilled a James Reid shot into the net, three minutes after the restart.

Seven minutes later, it was 3-0 to the side managed by former Coventry City Reserve team boss Gary Mills when Arron Farrell nipped through and nutmegged the home replacement keeper.

Jorgensen who more than coped with the standard of football was replaced in the 62nd minute.

Five minutes from time, Lemaington were awarded a penalty when referee Mike Bingham spotted a shirt pull. Craig Wilding stepped up and gave the Brakes fans something to cheer.

In the dying seconds, the Leamington support left the ground a bit happier when Luke Corbett tapped in from a header across the goal.
