Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that the JSB Christmas Party yesterday was an important event for the club.
There were large crowds at the Alan Higgs Centre for the party organised and supported by the club, Family Zone volunteers, Sky Blues In The Community and a whole host of agencies and supporters groups.
Due to the large crowds, the City players stayed an hour longer to ensure that everyone got their autographs and photos and speaking about this to Keiran Crowley, Tony Mowbray said: "It's been a lot of fun with people who are very passionate about the club and the numbers here today are quite incredible so it's great to see.
"It's an important event as these young kids are the future supporters of the football club.
"Today is all about making memories for the children so they've got to have their picture taken with Joe Cole and Adam Armstrong so they feel a part of it.
"I remember when I met David Mills at Middlesbrough when I was about 8 and I keep his signed picture for years and years after it and that's the impact on day's like today."
