Mr Justice Hickinbottom has said at the Judicial Review that Arena Coventry Limited were in a mess over their finances due to SISU/Coventry City failing to meet its legal rent obligations.
According to Simon Gilbert of the Coventry Telegraph, Justice Hickinbottom said at the High Court in Birmingham: "One of the main reasons that Arena Coventry Limited was in financial mess was because SISU/Coventry City Football Club failed to meet legal rent obligations and that ACL was sustainable with rent."
The SISU QC said that was questionable but Justice Heckinbottom disagreed.
