Lukas Jutkiewicz made his debut for Middlesbrough in their 2-0 home defeat to Burnley.
Jutkiewicz, who signed on what was laughingly called an "Emergency Loan" (Surely City were the ones who had the bigger emergency losing their main goalscorer!!!) before a permanent deal is completed this week, came on in the 57th minute in placeof Smallwood.
He had one good chance late on in the game, blasting over but was praised by Tony Mowbray who said to the BBC: "Lukas [Jutkiewicz] gives an extra dimension up front. He is big, physical and strong and has qualities we didn't have in the squad before."
