Dear Mrs Seppala
We were bitterly disappointed to hear Mr Fisher dismiss out of hand the offer kcic made to you, without even meeting to discuss it.
We are at a loss to understand why our team cannot kick off the new season at our home ground. All we want is for the Sky Blues to be playing at the Ricoh, where we belong.
We are bewildered and exasperated by your position. How does continuing to play at
Northampton Town FC make any sense? It seems to us that personal ‘vendettas’, history and mistrust are what is getting in the way. What is needed is commercial sense and common sense.
Ann Lucas has offered to meet with you and we would urge you to do so, as having talks direct with her and ACL is without doubt the sensible and responsible thing to do.
However, if that is not acceptable to you then we confirm that our offer remains on the table. Our offer is based on paying rent and match day costs for up to 3 years. It is financially beneficial to sisu compared with being in Northampton and allows you time to develop your long-term plans.
What could be more straightforward, simpler and reasonable than that?
I am sorry to say that Mr Fisher and Mr Labovitch now have little credibility among the overwhelming majority of fans, but we can sit down with you and go through all the details at your convenience. Please let me know without further delay, how you stand on this.
Yours sincerely
Michael Orton
