Club historian Lionel Bird, the Sky Blue Trust and Coventry City Supporters Consultation Group had all called for the proposed changes to the badge for the new kit to be put into the public domain so that every supporter can have their say on this matter.
So we asked you which badge was your favourite and 59% voted in favour of the badge with the ball on a green base,
41% voted for the proposed new badge (below) which is exactly the same as that used during the 1987 FA Cup Final but would save the club around 17% per kit.
