Coventry City midfielder Gary McSheffrey feels that if the squad can be kept together and three or four players added, City will be ok in League One.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player at the club's weekly press conference, McSheffrey said: "First few days have been gutting but we've tried to get on as normal because we still have a big game on Saturday. "We're professionals and we still have a job to do.
"Since we didn't get three points at Peterborough things have not really gone for us and we owe the fans a performance.
"We need to go into the summer with a little bit of self belief and pride for the new season.
"No-one is going into League One thinking it will be easy. We do need to add but if we keep the squad together and add 3/4 I think we'll be ok.
"Hopefully the lads can go into this last game and play with a bit of freedom and go into the summer with a bit of pride.
"I signed a new deal in November and if we can keep the squad together we can have a good go."
