Jonny Tuffey is expected to be sub keeper tonight for Northern Ireland U21's in their European Championship qualifying game against Liechtenstein in Belfast tonight. Tuffey has learnt his trade well coming through City's Academy and Reserve ranks but has been released by Micky Adams.
He has been a regular for Northern Ireland U19's and U17's and is also included in Roy Millar's squad to face Scotland in an Under 21 International Challenge Match at YMCA Grounds, Drumahoe on Tuesday May 16th.
Keepers On International Duty
Another keeper allowed to go by Adams is Clayton Ince. The former Crewe custodian, like Tuffey is also expected to be on the bench for Trinidad & Tobago as they take on Peru in Port of Spain tonight.
Stern John should start however and a goal or two will certainly cement his place in Leo Beenhakker's squad for the World Cup finals which will be announced after the game.
