The City goalkeeper, who is rated by many as the best in the Championship, has two so far this season but wants a lot more.
Speaking to the CT, Westwood said: "Like most keepers, I judge myself on clean sheets.
"I think I got twelve last year which was nice for my first season - but before that I kept a lot for Carlisle - 17,18 and 19 in three seasons, so I was looking for double figures when I first came here and hopefully, if we are near the top end of the table, I can keep a few more this year.
"I have had a couple of 'worldies' go past me in the last two games and you don't tend to get many of those over a season. But any goal that goes in whether it is scruffy or a great goal still hurts and is a goal conceded.
"They were two great strikes but I still analysed them because I am always looking to improve and if I can start saving those sorts of shots then I will be happy."
