Ryan Kent has said that it was a mutual decision for him to leave Liverpool FC on loan.
Speaking about joining on Coventry City on a youth loan until January 16th, Kent told Matt Joyce: "I’ve been looking at going out on loan and taking that next step throughout the summer.
"There was interest from a number clubs, some in the Championship, but Coventry stood out for me, they have real pedigree and a lot of good players.
"It was a mutual decision with myself and Liverpool to go out on loan, it’s the next step to play in senior football. I had a chat with Tony Mowbray, he made me feel very welcome and talked to me about the system.
"There's a few people in the staff at Liverpool which have told me good things too, and I spoke to Bryn while on international duty about it."
