Kilbane Is Fit As A Butcher's Dog - Thorn

Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said that Kevin Kilbane is fit.

The highly capped Republic Of Ireland international had a loan spell at Derby County curtailed last season due to an injury but Andy Thorn who has invited the defender in for pre-season training has said he is fit.

Speaking to the CT's Andy Turner, Thorn said: "Kevin is having a look at us and we're having a look at him and I have to say he looks as fit as a butcher's dog.

“He’s told me he just wants to enjoy his football and he came off the training pitch with a big smile on his face and told me he’d really enjoyed it.

“He’s an experienced head who can play in a number of positions, including full-back and central midfield, and I know he will be good to have in the dressing room as well.”
