Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has said that the fans have not yet seen anywhere near the best of striker Marlon King and that the best is yet to come.
Boothroyd said that in his opinion, King is only performing at around 60% of his potential, but in is defence, he also thinks his team are only performing at that same level of their collective ability.
Speaking about King and the fact that he has yet to score a goal for the Sky Blues except for the second goal at Scunthorpe that was given as a Murphy own goal, Boothroyd said to the CT: "There was never any doubt he was going to score and it will go down in the programme as his goal."
"It was just a matter of time but he is still not anywhere near where he can be or where we want him to be. I still think we are only seeing 60 per of what he is but that will come with time and the more games and more training sessions the better he will be."
However Boothroyd thinks the team on the whole have a lot more to give and that they have learned a lot in the recent three game losing streak and the manner in which they bounced back with two successive wins.
