Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has said that Marlon King might not start straight away in the team.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Boothroyd said he and his backroom staff would have to assess when King was ready to play Championship football: "He's been working very hard with us in an attempt to regain his fitness. He has looked sharp in training and in a couple of reserve matches but we will have to assess very carefully when he is ready for the step into Championship football."
Much has been made of King's prison and police record but the City boss said: "When I managed Marlon at Watford he was a first class professional and I fully expect that to be the case at Coventry City."
