Former Coventry City goalkeeper Chris Kirkland has joined Sheffield Wednesday.
Kirkland, who joined City from Barwell and was sold by then Chairman Bryan Richardson to Liverpool for a fee of £6m plus add-ons after making 24 appearances, has signed a two year deal with the Owls who are back in the Championship for next season.
As well as Liverpool, Kirkland has also played for West Bromwich Albion, Wigan Athletic, Leicester City and Doncaster Rovers and has one England cap from his time at Liverpool.
