Following the release of the Football League attendance figures yesterday,

Coventry City's Commercial Director Nathan Kosky has been talking about attendance figures at the Ricoh Arena.

These showed another drop for league games but a new record was set when 31,407 people attended the FA Cup Sixth Round tie against Chelsea.

"I am delighted that our fans have continued to support the club throughout what, for many, has been a difficult period financially," said Kosky to the club website.

"We were proud to have been recognised earlier in the year for our efforts to make match tickets accessible to families however it is important we continue to offer supporters good value for money here at the Ricoh Arena.

"We have brought in a number of changes to the season ticket prices that mean it is now cheaper to bring your family along to see the Sky Blues in action. Our Early Bird offers mean than fans who buy before May 24 will receive even greater discounts and children under the age of seven can still get their season tickets totally free with Junior Sky Blues membership.

"We are continuing to work on making the Ricoh Arena a great family-friendly environment and we look forward to welcoming even more fans through the doors next season."
