Former Coventry City striker Kevin Kyle has been called up for Scotland.

The striker, now playing for SPL side Kilmarnock, is in the Scottish National squad to face Wales at the new Cardiff City stadium on November 14th (Kick off 3pm).

''I've chosen him in two squads before and he's pulled out injured," said Scotland boss George Burley, who omitted one time City target Andrew Driver from the squad 'to take the pressure off him', to the BBC.

"Hopefully it'll be third time lucky. He offers us something different with his physical presence up front.

Former City defender Danny Fox and loanee Gary Caldwell are also in the squad.
