The Scot has been told that he has no place at Coventry City and is allowed to talk to clubs from January 1st as his contract expires next summer.
Apart from being on the pre-season tours of Austria, Switzerland and Scotland, Kyle has not featured for City's first team since he was sent off against Burnley last season.
He has however, been scoring for City Reserves and three times for Hartlepool in his loan spell.
