Kevin Kyle has been talking about his £650,000 move to Coventry. The Scottish international told the club website: "I was really excited about the move as soon as it came on the cards. Obviously I'd been at Sunderland a long time - nearly eight years - and I just needed a fresh challenge and Coventry was the right move for me.
"I spoke to the manager Micky Adams and he sold the Club well and that was one of the main reasons I moved down here because of the manager.
Kyle On Being Sent To Cov
"I know some of the players here as I've played with them or against them before and the Club has got a great stadium and training ground and lots of potential and I've settled in quickly and I'm enjoying it."
On his debut at Hull City, Kyle added: "I felt I did alright considering what was thrown at me I thought I handled it quite well. There wasn't too many chances created but I did what I had to do and came off the park at the end absolutely shattered, but that's part and parcel.
"It was just nice to win a game because I can't remember the last time I won a game in a Sunderland shirt."
