Coventry City's Non Independent Director Mark Labovitch has said he and Michael Byng are trying to bring together the parties involved in the Ricoh Arena dispute back to the table.

Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Simon Gilbert after the Judicial Review ended on Thursday afternoon, Mr Labovitch said: "This is a side show that has nothing to do with the football club.

"The city has a problem, the club isn't playing in the city. There's a problem that needs to be solved and this is not part of that solution.

"Is it going to be easier to get around the table now? I really don't know. I hope so."

Labovitch and Michael Byng are trying to bring the parties involved in the Ricoh Arena row back round the table and he said:"We are always open to talks. Me and Mr Byng worked hard behind the scenes to try and get a phone call between the council and Sisu about a fortnight ago which we hoped would get them back to the table.

"But they (the council) quite clearly stated that they had no interest in meeting ahead of the judicial review."
