Labovitch: Court Action Regretable

Coventry City Independent Non Exective Director Mark Labovitch has said that court case brought by the Alan Edward Higgs Charity against SISU, that basicially ended in a 1-1 draw thanks to two own goals, was 'regretable'.

Labovitch told the Coventry Telegraph's Simon Gilbert:  “I think it is very very regrettable. It is very sad the action should be brought when there’s no legal basis for it.

“I don’t think, if you are a charity, you should be going around suing people unless you are extremely sure of your ground.

“I think it’s extremely magnanimous of Joy (Seppala, Sisu boss) not to pursue costs from the charity.

“I hope the charity can get on with its work in the community. Certainly, we would rather be running a football club than dealing in litigation.”
