Former Coventry City Girls player Karen Carney played for England Women in their World Cup qualifier with France.
The game at Blackburn Rovers Ewood Park was played in front of a 12,164 crowd and finished 0-0 with Carney now at Birmingham City having a decent game and Hope Powell's side needing a result when the sides meet again in France in order to book their place for the Finals in China.
