Former City reserve team player Roy O'Donovan has been drafted in to the Republic of Ireland U21's squad for the game against Israel tonight. The Cork City striker was called in by manager Don Givens as a replacement for fellow Cork player Liam Kearney.

19 year old O’Donovan, broke into the Cork side a month ago after being released by City earlier this year and has scored twice for the Leesiders who currently top the Eircom League.
Meanwhile, Ian Evatt has left Chesterfield and signed for Queens Park Rangers. A fee of £100,000 was paid for the Coventry born defender who could play against the Sky Blues in the Copa De Ibiza tournament in July for his new club, if City over come Huddersfield Town.
