According to the latest accounts filed by Ricoh Arena owners - Arena Coventry Limited for 2012, the company more than double its operating profit.
In 2011, profits of £470,000 were announced but the latest accounts show a profit of £1,086,886 with an operating turn over of £7,782,519.
ACL chairman Nicholas Carter said to the Coventry Telegraph's Les Reid: “These accounts show us to be in a robust position.
“The current ongoing rent issue with our CCFC tenants has already seen us move to diversify revenue streams to ensure our future profitability is not dented by this issue.
“The number of big names coming to visit us this calendar year – from Bruce Springsteen to the Davis Cup – suggests that we are on the right track.”
