According to a report in yesterday's Daily Star Sunday, Coventry City made an offer to Rotherham for their star striker Adam Le Fondre.
Coventry City have long been linked with a move for Le Fondre, who has been seen as a replacement striker for the departed Marlon King. The offer, said to be £500,000 was rejected by Rotherham.
Rotherham are reluctant to lose the 24 year old striker, but admit he could leave if the price was right, which is thought to be around £1.5m.
Rotherham manager Andy Scott said, “It will take a hell of an offer for us to even consider letting him go.”
