Mike McGinnity told the CET: "With the support of the City Council,who have written a supporting letter,we are confident that Laing O'Rourke will have the Arena ready for August 20th.
"The Football League are concerned that we will be like Wembley and go beyond that date and that is why we invited them to see the stadium for themselves."
