Former Coventry City defender Calum Davenport , who had been training with Championship Leeds United, has been told he will not be offered a deal with the Yorkshire club.
Davenport has not played football since an incident left the defender with serious leg injuries after being stabbed. At the time he was at West Ham, but had his contract terminated.
The Yorkshire Evening Post is reporting that Leeds have ended their interest in the player, but it is thought that Cardiff and Nottingham Forest are both considering looking at Davenport.
