Leicester City are close to signing former Coventry City keeper Chris Kirkland on loan.
The deal was postponed last week when Kirkland, who came through City's Academy ranks and was voted the Covsupport News Service Young Player Of The Year before he was sold to Liverpool by then Chairman Bryan Richardson, picked up a virus.
The keeper, who lost his number one slot at Wigan Athletic to Ali Al Habsi, has now recovered and is expected to move to the Walkers Stadium before the loan deal window closes tomorrow.
