Wolverhampton Wanderers have completed the signing of Leon Clarke this morning.
Clarke has joined Wolves from Coventry City for a fee which both sides are claiming is undisclosed, although rumours of a fee between £450k and £1m vary on whether you support the selling club who always claim they got more money for a player or the buying club, who always claim they got a player at a bargain. The Wolverhampton Express & Star is reporting a figure of £750k.
Anyway, Clarke has signed an eighteen month deal with Wolves, for whom he played from 2003-2007, with an option of a further year.
There is no news as to if City had a clause inserted into the deal to say that Clarke could not play against the Sky Blues this season.
