Striker Leon McKenzie has said he is looking forward to making his debut at Ipswich Town on September 12th. The new signing, joined City on transfer deadline day in a fee of £600,000 guaranteed which may rise to £1m, but is not available to play against his former Norwich City side on Saturday as part of the deal.
Leon Looking Forward To Debut
The 28 year old from Thornton Heath told the CET: "It is a mouth watering prospect, "I did well on my last debut and it would be great to score against Ipswich again on my Coventry debut.
"It is a massive disappointment that I am not allowed to play against Norwich this season but there was nothing I could do about it," he said about the clause in his contract that Norwich insisted upon.
"But I will be there next Saturday when we beat them! The stadium is amazing and I can't wait to play there which will be a really special occasion for me."
