Former Coventry City defender Liam Daish has said that he refuses to throw in the towel,
Daish accepts that some Nuneaton Town supporters and others feel that Nuneaton will be relegated out of the Conference Premier division at the end of the season, but speaking to Nuneaton News, Daish said: “I understand why some fans feel resigned to us going down at the moment, the games are going and I know we need to start picking up points.
“But I will not throw the towel in and I will not quit until it is mathematically impossible.
“I will keep trying and I will keep looking to improve this squad all the time. That is how I do things.
“I am an optimistic person and I am a winner.
“I have won things throughout my life and that does not change if you are the top of the table or the bottom. I just want to get results.”
