Coventry City Chairman Ken Dulieu has said that the club only has a limited budget for players.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Mr Dulieu said: "I was out in Portugal with Andy and the guys and I can tell you the camaraderie amongst the players is fantastic.
"Not only that but Andy, Harry (Steve Harrison) and Oggy (Steve Ogrizovic) are working really well together as a managerial team.
"At the end of last season you could see the way the fans responded to the attractive, attacking football the team was playing and we were really pleased with that.
"That style of football will not change and the guys were working on it out in Portugal.
"They worked really well over the course of the week and you could see the improvement in their level of play.
"We feel there are still two holes left to fill however and we are working incredibly hard to fill them.
"I will travel anywhere if there is a chance of securing a deal which is good for the club. But any signing we are going to make must represent a solid investment for the club.
"There is a limited budget for transfer fees and we are open to loan deals. We are investing in the academy and Gregor Rioch has done a fantastic job bringing through young players good enough to contribute to the first team and long may it continue."
