Coventry City defender Richard Keogh feels that bringing in players on loan would be a boost to the Sky Blues.
Despite comments from SISU Rep on City's Board Onye Igwe and Chairman Ken Dulieu, so far there have been no incomings to the Ricoh Arena with Andy Thorn missing out on the likes of Danny Drinkwater and Jonjo Shelvey who gone elsewhere.
Keogh told the CT: “I think bringing in a few players would give everyone at the club a boost – the fans, the players the manager, obviously.
“He has come in and made it clear that he’s had a few targets in mind and missed out on a couple that he would have liked to have brought in.
"But at the end of the day if it doesn’t happen we have got to stay together.
“We are a young team and maybe our inexperience shows sometimes in games but when you are a young kid you have to learn from these experiences and the only way they are going to learn is by making mistakes on the pitch and playing more game time, and that can only be good for the club in the future.
“I don’t think our points tally is what it deserves to be this season.
"It should be a lot higher so we have got to keep working hard and keep looking forward.”
