Former Coventry City player Nii Lampety has told the Ghana players to look after themselves before the players get to their World Cup training camp in Paris on May 24th.
Lampety, whose City career was nothing much to write home about, bar goals against Hull City in the League Cup told Kick Off.com: "Between now and when they report to camp, it will be down to the individual players to look after themselves well.
"It will depend on the professionalism of those players because they will need to be in the best condition for the tournament. It means they have to cut on the late night outings and effectively live as though they were in the middle of a season. It will be a sacrifice worth making."
Ghana will play Latvia in Milton Keynes before flying to South Africa for the finals with Group D matches against Serbia, Australia and Germany.
