James Maddison has said that he is truly grateful to everyone at Coventry City for his development.
Maddison who will be a Norwich City player next season told the Canaries club website:
"I’d come through the academy system, it’s my hometown club and I’d had every stage of my development there.
"It’s the club that gave me my debut, it’s been my club that has made me the player I am today and I’m truly grateful to everyone there who has helped with my development.
"I broke into the first team last year and I was first on the bench as a 16-year-old, and I’ve been exposed to first team football earlier than most so I think that can only be beneficial to me in the long run.
"I’ve really enjoyed my time there but I just felt like this was the next step in my career to join Norwich."
