James Maddison has said that he is ready to play for Coventry City against Oldham Athletic on Saturday if required.
Maddison played the whole of City U21's 5-0 defeat at Hull City on Monday night and speaking to Keiran Crowley, he said about his fitness: "I feel good within myself and I feel sharp. I should have put a few chances away today but that'll come. I'm delighted to be back on the pitch and ready to go.
"I feel like I dictated play a lot and played well with the ball at my feet.
"The gaffer felt it would be better for me to get 90 minutes under my belt for the Under-21s and I feel good so I'm hoping to be involved on Saturday."
