Maddison: We Go To Chesterfield With Confidence

Last updated : 26 December 2015 By CNS Staff

Coventry City's James Maddison feels that the Sky Blues will travel to Chesterfield tomorrow with confidence after their 1-0 win over Port Vale on Boxing Day.

Maddison told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: "We’ll take a big away following to Chesterfield and hopefully we can get another three points.

“It’s amazing that nearly 3,000 are going and we just want to keep things going for them. We had over 17,000 at the Ricoh yesterday and we want them to keep coming back.

“Chesterfield have lost seven on the bounce so we can go there with confidence but as the gaffer keeps telling us, any team can win on any day in this league so we won’t go there arrogantly, we’ll go and work hard and try to get the result.”
