Major City Shareholder Re-elected

Major Shareholder Geoffrey Robinson was re-elected as MP for Coventry North West in the General Election vote in the early hours of this morning.
Robinson polled 20,942 to win by a majority of 9,315.

In a good night for Labour who were re-elected to government for a third term,Bob Ainsworth,whose constituency includes the Arena kept his the Coventry North East seat , polling 21 178 votes to win with a 14,222 majority whilst Jim Cunningham kept his Coventry South seat polling 18,649 to win by a margin of 6,255.
