Coventry City Football Club has generously awarded Richard Shaw a well deserved testimonial in recognition of his loyal service and commitment to the Club in the last 10 years to be held on Tuesday April 11th against a Celtic Team led by Roy Keane and featuring Dion Dublin, John Hartson, Paul Telfer. Richard was signed from Crystal Palace in November 1995 for £1 million and has since made over 350 appearances for the Sky Blues which takes him into the top 10 appearances in the history of Coventry City Football Club.

The game is anticipating to attract in excess of 25,000 fans, with a possibility that it will be the first sell out of the Ricoh Arena.. The ticket sales are currently 18000+ which is historically very high at this stage considering there is still six days to go before the game and a large number of fans will hope to buy their tickets in the last week.

Richard Shaw only has this one opportunity and we are looking for local companies to support him. Part of the proceeds that are raised for Richard will be donated to the Snowball charity for children.
