Jon Stead has the weekend to decide if he wants to move to Coventry City.
Ipswich Town and Coventry City have agreed terms for the striker and now it is up to Stead if he wishes to up-root himself from his countryside abode and move to the Ricoh Arena.
Stead incurred a four match suspension on Boxing Day 2009 for being sent off for fouling Freddie Sears, whom he could play alongside if he were to choose Coventry.
City are understood to have other options if Stead, whose previous clubs include Huddersfield, Blackburn, Sunderland, Derby and Sheffield United, decides against the initial loan and then permanent deal at the end of the season.
