Coventry City have Kevin Malaga back at the club after he rejected a loan extension at Nuneaton Town.
A deal to extend Malaga's loan at the Conference Premier side had been agreed by City Development Officer Steve Waggott and manager Mark Robins with the Nuneaton management. However, the defender decided that he did not wish to stay at Liberty Way and has returned today to the Sky Blues.
Nuneaton manager Kevin Wilkin told the Coventry Telegraph’s Derek Brown: “It’s quite a coup for us to get Kevin but it was never going to be more than short term. “He did well in the handful of games that he played for us and we wish him well.”
Malaga cannot go into City's squad for the home FA Cup Second Round tie against Morecambe on Saturday after playing for Boro against Luton Town in two First Round matches.
