Coventry City chairman Ray Ranson has revealed that he has spoken to two possible candidates for the vacant manager's seat at the club.
Mr Ranson didn't reveal the names of the candidates, but said there have been a lot of candidates to look at. He and the board have a clear idea of the type of manager they want and are now in the process of sorting the candidates into those they want to speak to.
Mr Ranson confirmed he had spoken to two of the candidates saying, "I met with one on Wednesday and another yesterday, so the process is underway."
Yesterday Romanian Laszlo Boloni went public with his interest in the Ricoh hot seat and later, another foreign manager declared his interest in the vacant job.
Csaba Laszlo, who was voted Scottish Manager of the Year 2009 while at Hearts. He led the club to third in the Scottish Premier League, has indicated his interest.
Laszlo's agent Antonio Carlo said, "He is available for the job and has sent in his CV to the club. It is now up for consideration from the board at Coventry."
"Maybe something different would be good for the club rather than a succession of English managers."
Laszlo formerly managed the Hungarian national team, having served as assistant to Lothar Matthaus in the Hungarian national set up. He managed the Ugandan national team for two years before being appointed manager at Hearts
His disagreements with Hearts chairman Roman Romanov, the son of Lithuanian businessman owner Vladimir Romanov, led to his sacking in January.
It is not known whether these two prospective managers are the ones Mr Ranson has spoken to.
